At Demi's Nails & Beauty Academy ("the Academy", "we", "our" or "us"), we invest significant time, expertise and financial resources into creating our educational materials and business resources.

This Intellectual Property & Copyright Policy explains how our content may and may not be used.

By purchasing any product or service from the Academy, you agree to comply with this policy.

1. Ownership

All intellectual property created by Demi's Nails & Beauty Academy remains the exclusive property of the Academy unless otherwise stated in writing.

This includes, but is not limited to:

Student Manuals
Educator Manuals
Videos
Demonstration Videos
Course Presentations
Worksheets

All content is protected by copyright and applicable intellectual property laws.

2. Student Licence

When you purchase or attend an Academy course, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the course materials for your own personal education and professional development.

This licence allows you to:

Watch course videos.
Download resources where permitted.
Print materials for your own study where permitted.
Use the skills learned within your own beauty business or employment.

This licence does not transfer ownership of the Academy's intellectual property.

3. Student Manuals

Course manuals supplied as part of your training are provided solely to support your own education.

They may not be:

Used to teach others.
Copied.
Reproduced.
Rebranded.
Shared.
Uploaded online.
Sold.
Distributed.
Used to create another training course.
Used for commercial educational purposes.

Purchasing a course does not include permission to teach using Academy manuals or educational materials.

4. Educator Manuals

Educator Manuals are sold separately and are subject to an Educator Licence.

Purchasing an Educator Manual grants you a licence to use the material in accordance with the Educator Licence Agreement.

It does not transfer ownership of the Academy's intellectual property.

5. Canva Templates

Where editable Canva templates are supplied, access is granted solely to the purchaser.

Canva share links are confidential.

You must not:

Share Canva links.
Sell Canva templates.
Give Canva templates to another educator.
Upload Canva templates to file-sharing websites.
Allow another person to edit your Canva files.

The Academy reserves the right to revoke access where it reasonably believes the licence has been breached.

6. Videos & Digital Content

All Academy videos remain the exclusive property of Demi's Nails & Beauty Academy.

Students and customers must not:

Download videos using unauthorised software.
Screen record lessons.
Upload videos online.
Share videos.
Sell videos.
Include Academy videos within another training programme.

7. Login Details

Online course access is licensed to one individual only.

You must not:

Share your login details.
Allow another person to access your account.
Permit another individual to complete training using your account.

Where the Academy reasonably believes that login details have been shared, it reserves the right to:

Suspend access.
Permanently remove access.
Refuse future enrolment.

Removal of access for misuse will not entitle the student to a refund.

8. Artificial Intelligence

Academy manuals, videos, templates and educational materials must not be uploaded to artificial intelligence platforms where doing so would reproduce, distribute or disclose Academy intellectual property beyond your personal use.

Academy materials must not be used to create competing educational products using artificial intelligence.

9. Copyright Restrictions

Unless you have obtained prior written permission from the Academy, you must not:

Copy Academy materials.
Reproduce Academy materials.
Modify Academy materials for commercial purposes.
Share Academy resources.
Upload Academy materials online.
Sell Academy content.
Rent Academy content.
Distribute Academy content.
Translate Academy materials for resale.
Remove copyright notices.
Claim Academy materials as your own work.

10. Educator Licence

Where an Educator Licence has been purchased, the licence holder may only use the materials in accordance with the rights granted under that licence.

The licence:

Is personal to the purchaser.
Cannot be transferred.
Cannot be sublicensed.
Cannot be sold.
Cannot be shared.

The Academy reserves all rights not expressly granted under the licence.

11. Copyright Infringement

The Academy takes the protection of its intellectual property seriously.

Where the Academy reasonably believes that its intellectual property has been copied, reproduced, distributed or otherwise misused, it reserves the right to take appropriate action.

This may include:

Removing access to Academy resources.
Terminating licences.
Requesting removal of infringing content.
Issuing cease and desist correspondence.
Recovering financial losses where appropriate.
Commencing legal proceedings where necessary.

12. No Implied Rights

Purchasing any Academy product or service grants only the rights expressly stated within the relevant licence or policy.

No ownership rights are transferred by purchasing:

A course.
A manual.
An Educator Manual.
A Canva template.
A digital product.
Any Academy educational resource.

All rights not expressly granted remain reserved by Demi's Nails & Beauty Academy.
