At Demi's Nails & Beauty Academy ("the Academy", "we", "our" or "us"), we are committed to providing a professional, supportive and enjoyable learning environment for every student.
This Student Course Policy outlines what you can expect from the Academy and what is expected from you throughout your training.
By booking a course with the Academy, you agree to comply with this policy.

Once your booking has been confirmed, you will receive the relevant course information before your training begins.
Depending on your course, this may include:
- Course information.

Your online learning account is personal to you and must not be shared with any other individual.
Online learning remains available for the access period advertised at the time of purchase.
3. Practical Training
Students are expected to arrive on time for all practical training sessions.
Late arrival may result in important demonstrations or practical activities being missed.
The Academy reserves the right to refuse entry where excessive lateness would significantly disrupt the course or affect the learning experience of other students.
4. Models
Some courses require students to provide live models.
Where this applies, students will be advised in advance.
Unless otherwise agreed by the Academy, students are responsible for arranging suitable models.
Models should:
- Arrive on time.
- Meet any treatment requirements advised before the course.
- Behave respectfully throughout the training session.
If a model fails to attend, the Academy cannot guarantee that a replacement model will be available.
5. Dress Code
Students should attend training dressed appropriately for a professional learning environment.
Closed-toe footwear is recommended for practical training.
Long hair should be tied back where appropriate, and jewellery that may interfere with treatments should be removed.

This includes showing respect towards:
- Educators.

The Academy does not tolerate bullying, harassment, abusive language, threatening behaviour or disruptive conduct.
Students whose behaviour negatively affects the learning environment may be asked to leave the course.
7. Mobile Phones
Mobile phones should be kept on silent during training.
Students are asked not to use their phones during demonstrations or teaching sessions unless instructed otherwise by the educator.
8. Photography & Recording
Students may take photographs of their own work unless instructed otherwise.
Photography or video recording of demonstrations, teaching materials, manuals or other students is not permitted without the Academy's prior permission.
Recording online lessons, practical demonstrations or Academy training materials is strictly prohibited.
9. Health & Safety
Students must follow all health and safety instructions given during training.
The Academy reserves the right to stop any practical activity where it believes continuing would create a health or safety risk.
Students should advise the Academy before training if they have any medical condition, allergy or accessibility requirement that may affect their participation.
10. Practical Assessments
Some courses include practical assessments to ensure students have developed the required skills.
Educators may provide feedback throughout training and may recommend further practice where appropriate.
11. Case Studies
Certain courses require students to complete case studies following practical training.
Case study requirements vary depending on the course.
Students are responsible for submitting their case studies in accordance with the instructions provided by the Academy.
Where submitted work does not meet the required standard, additional case studies or further evidence may be requested before certification is awarded.
12. Certification
Certificates are issued only after all course requirements have been successfully completed.
Depending on the course, this may include:
- Attendance.
- Completion of online learning.
- Practical assessment.
