TERMS & CONDITIONS

Welcome to Demi's Nails & Beauty Academy ("the Academy", "we", "our", or "us").

These Terms & Conditions govern the purchase of our courses, digital products, training kits and educational services. By booking a course, purchasing a product or using our website, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not make a purchase.

1. About Us

Demi's Nails & Beauty Academy provides professional beauty education through:

• Online Courses
• Hybrid Courses (Online Theory & Practical Training)
• In-Person Courses
• Digital Educational Resources
• Educator Manuals
• Training Kits
• Business Education & Mentoring

2. Booking a Course

Your booking is confirmed once payment (or an approved deposit where applicable) has been successfully received.

Course availability is not guaranteed until your booking has been confirmed.

The Academy reserves the right to decline or cancel bookings where reasonably necessary.

3. Course Fees

Course prices are displayed on our website.

Prices may change from time to time without notice.

Once your booking has been confirmed, your agreed course fee will not change unless both parties agree otherwise.

4. Deposits

Where a deposit option is available:

• Deposits secure your place on a course.
• Deposits contribute towards administration and course preparation.
• Deposits form part of the total course fee.
• Deposits are non-refundable except where required by law.

5. Payment

The remaining balance must be paid in accordance with the payment arrangements communicated by the Academy.

Failure to pay outstanding balances may result in:

• Suspension of online learning access.
• Postponement of practical training.
• Withholding of certification.
• Cancellation of future bookings.

6. Online Learning

Where a course includes online learning:

• Access will be provided in accordance with the information published at the time of booking.
• Access is personal and may not be shared.
• Online learning remains available for the access period advertised at the time of purchase.
• The Academy may update online learning materials as part of its commitment to continuous improvement.

7. Practical Training

Students attending practical training agree to:

• Attend on time.
• Follow educator instructions.
• Behave professionally.
• Comply with health and safety procedures.
• Meet any published course requirements.

Where models are required, students remain responsible for arranging suitable models unless otherwise stated.

8. Course Completion & Certification

Certificates are issued only after all course requirements have been successfully completed.

Depending on the course, this may include:

• Attendance.
• Theory completion.
• Practical assessments.
• Case studies.
• Payment of outstanding balances.

Completion of attendance alone does not automatically guarantee certification.

9. Refunds & Course Transfers

Refunds, cancellations and transfer requests are governed by the Academy's Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Students should read that policy carefully before making a booking.

10. Intellectual Property

All Academy materials remain the intellectual property of Demi's Nails & Beauty Academy.

This includes:

• Manuals.
• Videos.
• Canva templates.
• Educational resources.
• Downloads.
• Course content.
• Branding.
• Marketing materials.

Students are granted permission to use Academy materials solely for their own personal learning unless they have separately purchased an Educator Licence.

Academy materials must not be copied, reproduced, shared, sold or used for commercial educational purposes without the Academy's prior written consent.

11. Educator Manuals

Educator Manuals are sold under licence.

Purchase of an Educator Manual does not transfer ownership of the Academy's intellectual property.

Use of Educator Manuals is governed by the Academy's Educator Licence Agreement.

12. Student Conduct

Students are expected to behave professionally and respectfully at all times.

The Academy reserves the right to remove any student whose behaviour significantly disrupts training or places others at risk.

Removal from a course under these circumstances will not normally entitle the student to a refund.

13. Complaints

The Academy aims to provide a high standard of customer service.

Students with concerns are encouraged to contact the Academy directly so that the matter can be investigated and, where appropriate, resolved promptly.

The Academy's Complaints Procedure explains how complaints are managed.

14. Privacy

The Academy processes personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

By booking a course or purchasing a product, you acknowledge that your information will be processed as described within that policy.

15. Force Majeure

The Academy shall not be liable for delays or changes resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, public health emergencies, supplier disruption, power failures or other unforeseen events.

Where possible, the Academy will seek to provide reasonable alternative arrangements.

16. Limitation of Liability

Nothing within these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

Subject to applicable law, the Academy's liability shall be limited to the amount paid for the relevant product or service.

The Academy shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses except where required by law.

17. Changes to These Terms

The Academy may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

The version published on the Academy's website at the time of booking will normally apply to that booking unless a change is required by law.

18. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland.

Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Irish courts, subject to any mandatory consumer rights.
